Our Walks Programme

Tavistock Ramblers aim to have a rolling programme of two or three weekly walks available for our members. Our really popular Wednesday walks are generally around 5-6 miles and are designed to be completed before lunch. It is normal for us to stop mid morning for a coffee and snack break.  Our weekend walks are normally designed to be longer somewhere between 8 to 12 miles, for these we stop mid morning and at lunch time so bring refreshments for both. During the summer months we also try to offer a couple of short 3 miles evening walks with a pub stop after completion. Details of all our walks can be viewed here on our website or via the Ramblers App on your smart phone.

Please text the walk leader to book onto any of our walks or if you require more information. People thinking of joining are welcome to attend a "taster walk" . Members of other Ramblers Groups are free to join us at any time.

Dogs are welcome on walks at the discretion of the walk leader. Some walks are unsuitable for dogs so please check before you bring them. Requirements of the walk leader must be followed at all times.  Guidance for dog owners.

The walks programme is put together by the Tavistock Walk Leaders supported by the Walks Team.

If you print the walks programme please remember that it may change after printing. It is necessary to check the day before that no details have been altered.
